Michael Neuvirth headed to the Czech Republic

As reported by Mike Vogel, goaltender Michael Neuvirth will be going to play with Trinec in the Czech League.

More information will be provided as it comes in.

Hes gonna get some good ice time there so that's the good. Too bad the coach has to travel.

Agreed, the move is probably best for his development, however I still worry.

Marek Schwartz was a highly ranked prospect in 2005 and then returned for a year in the Czech Republic.

Last year his stats declined; albeit he played on a terrible team, but he has yet to develop on schedule.

I know that goalies take more time to mature than any other position, I just hope that Neuvirth doesn't regress because of this move.
